In order for a horse to be nominated into the ASA Hall of Fame, they must carry a ranking of Grade I or better. Any horse nominated with less than this rank will be tossed. Nominations are open for a two month period with the third month open to voting; meaning:
January & February are Nominating Months; March is a Voting Month April & May are Nominating Months; June is a Voting Month July & August are Nominating Months; September is a Voting Month October & November are Nominating Months; December is a Voting Month
At the end of the year, the horses nominated for the Hall of Fame will also be nominated for Horse of the Year and voted upon.
To Nominate: - Please send the complete form via PM to Shelly or approved ASA Staff Member - List the title as 'ASA HoF Nomination' - You may not nominate your own horse - Any nominations received during voting months will be tossed
