All Sim Jockey Club's Rulebook; 2009 Edition
Mission Statement
The All Sim Jockey Club (hereafter recognized as ASJC) is a nonprofit, fictional organization dedicated to the proper education and running of Thoroughbred racehorses. Races are conducted in a non-randomized manner and larger races won at the ASJC should be recognized as prestige and honor. No other race will compare to the honor, prestige, fame, and glory that a win through the ASJC can bring.
General Guidelines and Rules
I. Only purebred, verifiable Thoroughbreds may compete in the All Sim Jockey Club.
II. Thoroughbreds meeting the Jockey Club colors may only be registered. These colors are: Bay, Black, Chestnut, Dark Bay/Brown, Gray, Palomino, Roan (Sabino).
III. Thoroughbreds must be two years of age as of January 1st to be eligible for racing.
IV. For All Sim Jockey Club purposes, no two registered horses may have the same name; all horses are also assigned an All Sim Jockey Club number that should be remembered.
Points and Awards
I. Unlike other SIM associations, the Jockey Club does not reward horses with points or titles.
II. Earnings and member-voted awards are the only achievements these horses earn; along with progeny "bonuses".
III. Awards that horses may earn are based upon real life Thoroughbred racing awards; such as the Eclipse awards and the Triple Crown.
Breeders Cup Championships Qualifications
Coming Soon
Kentucky Derby Qualifications
I. Horses who win one of the recognized Kentucky Derby prep races will automatically be considered.
II. The rest of the field will be determined by the total earnings from the recognized prep races.
