Eclipse Awards for 2009 have been cancelled. Please expect them back for 2010 though!
Eclipse Awards
Background
The Eclipse Awards are considered the most prestige awards in American Thoroughbred Racing. Each year, only the best of the best are crowned. Eclipse Awards are voted upon by the members of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Daily Racing Form, and the National Turf Writers Association. Achievement in races, such as what races won, the level of competition, and several other factors, are always taken into consideration for the Eclipse Awards. However, only achievements from that year are taken into consideration!
